Most residential inspections take 45 minutes to an hour. That includes the roof, gutters, siding, vents, and any other exterior surfaces. Larger homes or commercial buildings may take longer. You receive the photo report the same day or within 24 hours.
You often cannot tell from the ground. Hail bruises shingles, loosens granules, and cracks flashing in ways that only show up during a close inspection on the roof surface. Visible clues from ground level include dented gutters, dings on AC units, and chipped paint on window sills. If you see those signs, the roof likely took hits too.
